About the Author
Originally from the "Witch City" of Salem, Massachusetts, Amber Sanchez is a Latina historical fiction and horror author whose work spans short stories, novels, poetry, and essays. While grounded in realism, Amber’s stories frequently brush against the strange and the supernatural, blurring the line between history and myth. Her young adult work includes the adventure novel "Fortune Valley," as well as related short stories. Some of her adult fiction work can be found in Aesthetica, Forbes and Fifth, Wilderness House Press, The Bangalore Review, and others.
